Amy's best friend from college lives in a suburb of Detroit and has always wanted her to come and visit in the winter. She is there now, and absolutely freezing-but enjoying the snow. The top pic shows her friend's pool area covered with snow. I didn't know that they even had pools in Detroit. Even though they live in NYC, they do not see much snow in the city, and it is a treat for a southern girl. When she returns today, she and a friend will be spending their last weekend home at our little beach hideaway.
